Senior Accountant Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting Syd location Sydney. Salary Circa $110,000 - $125,000 + Super.

About the role an exciting opportunity within a multinational IT organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This senior accountants' position will lead in the management and communication of the companies’ financial accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.

The responsibilities working closely with the business and finance business partners to provide insights and drive optimal business performance. Leading month end, quarterly and annual close processes. Mentoring the accountants and reviewing their work. Assist in year-end audit and collate information. Ensuring all statutory, tax and compliance obligations are met.

Lead Balance sheet reconciliation and reporting. Processing and reconciling inter-company transactions. Continual process improvement mindset. Provide ad-hoc reporting & analysis to a number of projects and change initiatives.

The successful applicant will have ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have had extensive experience working in large organisations.
