Secretariat Officer NSW Department of Planning location Sydney.

Are you a collaborative team member with strong administration skills and attention to detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a secretariat professional to join a collaborative and dynamic team in the Governance Division at the Department of Planning and Environment.
As the Secretariat Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer-focused, high level professional secretariat practice for key Departmental meetings and committees. Working closely with the Internal Audit Team, you will also provide integral administrative support to ensure the delivery of internal audit engagements and associated arrangements to meet the Department’s strategic and operational objectives.
In your role you will provide exceptional meeting coordination and support, oversee the systems administration to ensure accurate and timely reporting as well as the preparation and management of operation and committee documentation including collating and distributing information to key stakeholders and supporting the publication of meeting papers and meeting logistics.
About you your extensive experience in providing high level administrative and executive support will be key to success in this role. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are your strength, as is your ability to liaise with and build strong collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders of all levels.
You will have superior organisational, prioritisation and time management skills with capacity to work well under pressure as well flexibility to adapt to changing demands to ensure that objectives are met. You are team-oriented however can confidently work autonomously, proactively identifying what needs to be done and using discretion and good judgement to deal with complex and sensitive issues.
