School Sport Administrator Rangitoto College location Auckland. Salary $20 - $24.99 per hour.

About the business and the role we are looking for a superstar administrator with stellar organisational skills to join our sports team at Rangitoto College. This position provides significant support and co-ordination to a number of sports in our sport programme and manages facility bookings. This is a 37.5-hour a week position, inclusive of school holidays. Due to the role being dependent upon sports participation numbers this is a fixed term role and will commence as soon as possible after 3 July 2020 and end 18 December 2020.

A passion for sport and physical activity. Sport coordination, organisation and event management. Knowledge secondary school sport. Students at Rangitoto College are encouraged to participate in sport throughout their time at the school. They include an Olympic-standard hockey turf, three indoor gymnasiums, a fully equipped fitness center, multiple sports fields,, indoor cricket nets and the nearby athletics track at the Millennium Institute.

The successful applicant will be required to foster and maintain close relationships with students, parents, teachers, coaches as well as school and community sporting bodies. In this position, the applicant will be part of a team responsible for the coordination of a mix of sports, event management, sport development and sport administration. Each Sport Administrator is responsible for a portfolio of sports.

To provide leadership for the school's sport and physical recreation programme in the following Areas of responsibility administration, communication, participation, professional support and training, resource management, community involvement, promotion.
