School Office Administrator Royal Oak Primary School location Auckland.

About the School we are a large school that celebrates a diverse multi-cultural Auckland city fringe community. The school caters for 575 (at this stage) Year 1-6 children with a committed team of teachers and support staff working collaboratively to provide a positive and exciting learning environment for all learners.

About the role this is a pivotal role in the school. As the front person in the office you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and families when they enter the school. Having strong interpersonal skills is essential. Proficiency and experience in office administration is a MUST. This job requires a self-starter who has excellent systems management with an ability to multi task during the busy parts of a school day.

Hours of work this position is term time only (8.15am – 3.15pm daily). Start date TBA - preferably at the beginning of Term 3 2020.

Skills and experience have strong system management skills. Possibly have some experience with Novopay (ideal but not essential). Have experience with accounts and associated tasks. Provide secretarial support for the principal. Be able to operate a school management database such as etap. Preferably hold a current first aid certificate.
