Description

Does the idea of working in a busy hospital environment where you get to utilise your skills in administration appeal to you? If so, then this may be a perfect role for you.

We have an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Radiology team. This role is currently based at Middlemore Hospital and the main purpose is to provide reception and administrative support for the radiology service. This includes meeting and greeting patients, booking of patients and general administrative tasks as allocated.

To be successful in this position you will be a quick learner, able to follow processes and have a high level of attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills whilst being organised and efficient with the ability to work in a high pressured environment. Excellent time management will be essential and your keenness and general willingness to help out with the attitude that "nothing is too much trouble' will be well received.

Ideally you will have a good background of administration experience and possess the drive and enthusiasm to ensure a high level of support is provided to clinicians and patients.

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Essential:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work autonomously when required
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent at Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
