Australia’s leading bed, mattress and bedding retailer, is currently seeking the services of a Sales/Delivery Assistant to provide superior customer service within their showroom and to assist the delivery driver with their deliveries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of stock to customers. Other duties will include ensuring timely delivery of goods, reviewing orders, communicating with customers, assembling furniture, receiving goods into our warehouse and maintaining a clean and safe work place.

The successful candidate will also at times be expected to provide a high level of customer service when serving in our showroom. This will include providing a high level of bedding and furniture product knowledge, to be able to recommend products based on customer needs and support customer enquiries.

The ideal candidate should have previous furniture handling experience (preferred but not essential). Previous retail sales experience (preferred but not essential). An exceptional standard of customer service (essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (essential). Professionalism, be well-presented, engaging, reliable and trust worthy. Ability to work cohesively in a small team. Physically fit and able to lift heavy furniture is essential.

Confidence, self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. Computer skills. A current drivers license with a good driving history. Availability to work from Monday to Sunday, within a roster.
