About the role qt Canberra has some exciting times ahead, and we are looking for a strong Sales Executive to join our team as we move ahead in a new way of doing business. Respond to all enquires for C&E business, and Food and Beverage outlets, prepare on brand- proposals and contracts that are tailored to the clients brief in a timely manner, while maximising revenues, conduct site inspections of the hotel, be comfortable with using all sales techniques, to develop a comprehensive understanding of the local c&e market, attend industry events for the purpose of networking, raising the hotel brand profile, maintain effective communication with the operations teams on a day to day basis, maintain and further develop data bases in the sales management system, proactively sell other evt hotels, products and services. Skills and experience strong negotiation skills, be used to working in a fast paced and changing environment, a positive attitude, ability to think outside the box to provide solutions for your clients, ability to build and maintain strong relationships, be a team player and love to win, experience with ivvy and opera pms an advantage.
