Bianca Lorenne is a well-respected brand and market leader, designing, importing and wholesaling exquisite bed linen, boutique yarn, textile accessories, furniture and homewares throughout New Zealand and Australia. Our creative team constantly work on new and innovative designs to ensure we are at the forefront of our industry. We are on the search for an exceptional Sales Consultant for our flagship store based in New Plymouth on a part time basis.

To succeed in this role you will need to be able to carry out the following create an engaging experience for customers. Have enthusiasm for building morale, loyalty and pride in the store. Provide an outstanding level of customer service and product knowledge on the retail floor at all times. Assist customers with selecting product, offer design advice and provide in depth knowledge on all brands.

Processing payments, handling cash and keeping up to date with daily admin tasks, including general cleanliness and presentation of the store. Have attention to detail and strong visual merchandising standards. Work with a passionate team to reach sales targets. Be able to work autonomously. Have a high level of communication skills both verbally and written. Be flexible to help out in the store and within our wholesale department from time to time.

What we are looking for a well-presented, enthusiastic person with a passion for textiles, homewares and an appreciation for the finer things in life. A person with a keen eye for refined design and the ability to create innovative looks in store and for our customers that fit with the Bianca Lorenne aesthetic. Mature minded and a confident communicator. Energetic and team orientated. Ability and willingness to provide excellent customer service and go the extra mile. The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers.

Someone who can demonstrate forward thinking, initiative and a positive can-do attitude.        Experience in retail, visual merchandising and stock control. Experience with operating computers, Microsoft Office and POS although training will be given on POS. Excellent verbal and written skills with a strong attention to detail. Solution focused attitude. A loyal and reliable work ethic. Flexibility in work hours. Knowledge of knitting would be advantageous but not absolutely necessary.
