About the role

The Sales Associate for Tyro Health is responsible for managing prospective and new customer inquiries, converting prospects into customers, providing product information, maintaining customer databases, and coordinating with other teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Sales associates serve as a primary point of contact for prospective customers, offering solutions to their needs, addressing concerns, and building strong relationships to foster customer loyalty.

What you’ll do

Action inbound and initiate outbound calls to prospective customers based on provided leads or identified opportunities.

Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, building rapport and trust.

Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the business.

Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.

Utilise ethical selling techniques to close sales and upsell additional products or services.

Accurately process customer applications and follow through to completion.

Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including customer interactions, lead activity, quotes generated, applications sent, and follow-up actions.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the products or services offered to address customer inquiries and objections effectively.

Follow established sales procedures, scripts, and guidelines.

Adhere to compliance standards and regulations governing sales activities, such as Tyro policies, data privacy laws and industry regulations.

What you'll bring

Experience in inbound / outbound phone sales.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

General understanding of the financial services industry

General understanding of the Australian health industry specifically payments and claiming.

Problem solving & customer needs analysis skills

Excellent verbal and written Communication skills.

Previous experience using AWS Connect, Salesforce and Jira is beneficial

Nice to have

Sales experience in Health, Banking, or Finance (especially with payments/claiming services).

Knowledge of POS systems, KYC/AML requirements, and compliance.

Previous exposure to Salesforce.
