Merlo Australia, is seeking the services of an experienced “Sales & Marketing Assistant”, to support to support the internal sales team and their growing dealer network, in underpinning what is a world leading product in the Telehandling equipment market.

We are a small team responsible for the sales and coordination of the effective marketing of our brand and the equipment that we take to market through our internal sales team and greater dealer network. Expediential growth over the last two years has provided the opportunity to employ a sales administrator as an integral part of the sales team.

With this being a new role to Merlo Australia, we will draw on your previous sales administration skills and marketing exposure to focus on creating content to promote the products we distribute. Executions including advertorial, case study and Social Media. You will own the task of sales reporting and support the end-to-end running of trade/vendor events, branch merchandising, and general marketing.

Experience required experience coordinating and supporting a sales team of 5 or more people. Marketing credentials, training or experience. Strong Microsoft Office skills especially excel. Experience working in a dynamic market or industry. Trade show and or training co-ordination. Understanding of an “Equipment” based industry preferred but not essential.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and an adaptable communication style. You’re a communicator with good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience across the Microsoft suite of products including Publisher. You enjoy working autonomously and have no trouble getting on with the job. You’re a positive people person who thrives in a busy environment, ready and able to support the business and your team.
