Roster and Administration Pegasus Health location Canterbury.
About the role we are currently recruiting for a Roster and Administration in our 24 Hour Surgery Operations Support team. You will have the opportunity to undertake interesting work and to continue to grow your skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Your flexibility, computer literacy, ability to learn, and your strong customer service skills will be the key to your success in this role.
Duties and responsibilities providing support to the roster administration process, and provide roster back up in the absence of the position holder (training provided). Assistance with preparing roster information, including data entry to support payroll processes. General administration including support of the business processes of the 24HS. Working collaboratively within the team, providing back up to other team members as required.
Skills and experience NCEA Level 2 (equivalent to 6th form Certificate). Ideally at least five years' administrative experience. A highly professional attitude where confidentiality of patient information and discretion is paramount. Ability to work co-operatively within a busy team focused environment is essential, as is a positive, solutions oriented and flexible outlook. Ability to develop understanding in relation to roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
Strong administration and time management skills. Excellent organisational and logistical skills with attention to detail. Able to ensure multiple actions and tasks are done correctly, efficiently and effectively. Well-developed problem solving skills. Proven computer skills for Microsoft Office.
