Casual Role: Boiler outage located at RTA in Yarwun, QLD - great opportunity for a Gladstone local
Project Dates: Start date from mid-August, running approximately until mid-September
Roster: Dayshift: 10:1, Nightshift: 7:1, 12-hour shifts
Competitive Rate: EBA rates $60.12 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance

The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Riggers to deliver outage services to RTAY in Yarwun, QLD. Commencing mid-August 2025, Downer will be providing mechanical and project services throughout the outage supporting the boiler maintenance and repair. You will provide your expertise in piping set up, structural and welding fabrication, boiler casings etc, ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.

About You

Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
Workplace Safety: Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
Qualifications: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card, High-risk work licence with Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging
