Retail Sales Assistant CPAP Direct location Brisbane.
About us CPAP Direct is a retail and clinical leader in the sleep apnea industry across Australia. We have 20 retail stores and a large e-commerce business and are the ‘go to’ destination for people to research, be diagnosed and treated successfully for sleep related conditions.
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a motivated and experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join our Ipswich store. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and alternating Saturdays, 9am to 12pm (Rostered Days Off (RDOs) are earned for 2 x Saturday shifts worked).

Whilst existing expertise is an advantage, it is not essential for the role. If you have a great attitude and personality with strong experience in client focused retail, customer service and sales, we will teach you what you need to know about the sleep and CPAP therapy industry.
Using your strong interpersonal and sales skills, you get a buzz out of enhancing the lives of your customers and making them feel alive again. You easily connect and communicate with people in a natural way. You’re a powerful listener, curious about people, and have a ‘can do’ approach in finding solutions to people’s needs.

Home sleep test setups. Assisting customers with CPAP purchases (machines, masks, accessories etc.) Troubleshooting for issues with their CPAP equipment. Building rapport and effective relationships with customers. Patient education and advice on sleep health.
POS use. Basic reporting, general administration and cleaning duties as required. Customer service and after sales service. Professional relationship building within the sleep health industry.
Here are a few things we think will make you ideal for this role whilst Pharmacy, CPAP, Optometry, Audiology and other healthcare retail experience preferred, it is not necessary. Attitude is more important - we are happy and willing to train the right person.
You have previous experience in a busy, multi-tasking retail or customer service role you'll have a strong customer service focus, with empathy, compassion and a drive to deliver the best patient-centric outcomes. Thrive under pressure and work well independently and as part of a team.
Have strong communication skills, with the capacity to respond quickly to the needs of our customers. Be a quick learner, with initiative and tenacity. Enthusiasm, positivity and the genuine work ethic to ‘get things done’. Proven integrity, professionalism and discretion - you’ll be comfortable with sensitive information, and will do the right thing, even when no-one’s watching.
