About OCULA our family-run business has been operating for over 13 years and is growing fast. We specialise cutting edge clinical services and high-quality eyewear and are proud to be at the forefront in our industry.

We currently have 6 stores across the country (not all branded OCULA), with a support office based in Wanaka to ensure that we're providing the best possible service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we're creating specialist and management roles to support our expanding business. About the role your main goal is to achieve business goals and growth, and lead the team in alignment with our values. You will drive business growth by rallying your team together towards the business goals, and leading by example on the sales floor. You will champion our company values in supporting your team in all aspects of HR, from hiring through to training and developing our people.

It is a client-facing role where you will guide our clients through the process of choosing new eyewear, whilst providing exceptional client service. You will be well supported by our Operations Manager, and your fellow Branch Managers from other locations as you come up to speed.

Your key responsibilities oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, client experience, processes, HR and inventory management. Monitor branch sales performance and make necessary adjustments to reach sales targets.

Lead, train, manage and develop your team of 5 to reach the business, and their own professional, goals. Be a leading sales team member to lead by example. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients to foster long-term partnerships.

Skills and experience at least 2 years experience in a branch management role, or similar. Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing budgets. Strong knowledge of people management and fundamental principals of HR. Strong knowledge of inventory management and client experience practices. Experience in optics is a plus, but not required.
