Retail Assistant Baby on the Move location Canterbury. $24.50 – $25 per hour.

An opportunity has become available for a Retail Assistant in a Part Time role in our Christchurch Central store. This is a permanent Part Time position. Baby on the Move is a nationwide chain of independently 100% New Zealand owned and operated stores specialising in the rental and sales of baby equipment.

With our emphasis on child safety, we stock high quality, affordable products and provide a specialised car seat fitting service and installation by NZTA qualified Child Restraint Technicians.

The successful applicant must have previous retail experience, have great people skills, a friendly manner, commitment to a high level of customer service and an overriding passion for all things baby and child related. Full training in product knowledge, administrative and retail processes will be given.

Hours of employment will initially be two days; one week day 9.30am - 5pm and Saturday's 10am to 4pm. There is some flexibility around the week day. We envisage that this role will suit someone with older children as applicants must be able to work during school holidays and be flexible to fill in with extra hours to cover staff sick days or annual leave.
