About the role we currently have two permanent part time positions available for 17 or 20 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below Line A (17 hours).
Week 1 Friday: 7am – 9:30am (2.5 hours). Monday: 7am – 9:30am (2.5 hours). Wednesday: 7am – 9am (2 hours).
Week 2 Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours). Monday: 7am – 9am (2 hours). Wednesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours).
Line B (20 hours), Week 1 Thursday: 7am – 3:30am (2.5 hours). Friday: 7am – 9am (2 hours) Monday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours). Wednesday: 7am – 9am (2 hours).
Week 2 Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours). Monday: 7am – 9am (2 hours). Wednesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm (4 hours).
Please note that the following compliance documents are required if successful for the role NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion). Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian). Current First Aid & CPR certificate. Valid Victorian Driver's License. Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable).
