Buller Sports, the premier rental and retail operator in the Mt Buller and Mansfield region, is gearing up for an exciting 2026 winter season. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help deliver an exceptional mountain experience for our guests.

Positions Available

We have Rental & Retail Sales Assistant roles based at:

Mansfield
Mt Buller

On-mountain positions include shared staff accommodation, while valley-based employees receive competitive pay and access to staff transport options such as the staff bus and car passes. Some valley staff may also have the opportunity to stay on-mountain during rostered days off.

Your Responsibilities

As a Rental and Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and energetic team environment. You will:

Assist guests with the safe and correct setup of rental equipment
Educate guests on equipment care and usage
Sell and promote a range of mountain products
Support the management team with promotions, visual merchandising, and store presentation
Identify and respond to guest needs in a friendly and professional manner
Follow company, store, OHS, and environmental policies and procedures
What You Bring

We are looking for people who embody the mountain spirit and demonstrate:

A positive and reliable work ethic
Patience, empathy, and great customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High standards of presentation
Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and peak-season shifts
Experience in retail or rental environments and POS systems is an advantage, but not essential. Full training is provided.

English proficiency is preferred to support clear guest communication.
