Regulatory Assistant Administration Officer Western Sydney Local Health District location Blacktown. $32.63 - $33.41 per hour.
Where you'll be working western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing To provide professional administrative assistance with preparation and submission of ethics/governance documentation for the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit. Ensuring efficient and effective administrative assistance is provided to the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Manager, Regulatory Officer and other members of the Medical Oncology Unit and key staff as required. Blacktown hospital car parking allocation model is changing. There is a managed waitlist for parking for new staff commencing at Blacktown Hospital. This does not apply to staff with a disability parking permit.
Selection criteria demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior clinicians and internal and external stakeholders. Experience in an administration environment with demonstrated administrative or secretarial experience. Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases and computer based information systems.
Ability to work independently and within a multi-skilled team with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills in a busy environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within required Key Performance Indicators. Experience with medical terminology, preferably within an oncology or closely related area within a hospital or medical setting.
