The Neurosurgery Department at the Sydney Adventist Hospital (the San) provides an exciting opportunity to work in an environment with first-class facilities and a great team of medical, nursing and allied health staff. The San is a tertiary referral hospital and is the largest private, not-for-profit hospital in NSW, working closely with public hospitals, including Hornsby, Westmead and Royal North Shore hospitals. The hospital has recently been extensively redeveloped, and now is a facility with 550 beds and 24 operating theatres.

Essential criteria registrar applicants must be at least 2 years post-graduation with the following skills and experience MBBS or equivalent. Registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA. Post graduate year 2 minimum. Demonstrated competency in clinical skills including effective assessment, care planning care provision, case management and management of clinical emergencies. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
