Registered Nurses St John of God Hauora Trust location Canterbury.
Our residential facility is situated in central Halswell, surrounded by idyllic gardens and established trees that is enjoyed by our residents, their family members and our staff. We have free on-site parking offering security and peace of mind for our staff.
Currently we are offering either casual, part-time or full-time contracts for Registered Nurses who would enjoy working in the Disability sector. On application please state your availability whether it be to supplement your existing employment, or you are a returning to work or a new graduate. Providing you currently have the right to work in New Zealand, our Clinical Management team would love to hear from you.
Our unique Model of Care orients our service towards achieving a fulfilling and enriching life for our residents. This asks us to be creative and resourceful, and results in a programme of activities and events that are just as much fun for the caregivers as the residents they support. We provide comprehensive hospital level care for people living with physical and neurological disability. Our 60 room facility delivers residential and respite care as well as transitional and outpatient rehabilitation services.
Our Transitional Rehabilitation service at The Granada Centre works in close partnership with BIRS and Burwood Spinal Unit to support people from around New Zealand. Our skilled team employ a diversity of specialities to support people towards their goals of community living.

The ideal candidate for a role with us NZ practising Certificate ideally with a Minimum of 2 years nursing experience. Strong organisational and leaderships skills. Proven ability to effectively liaise with other health professionals and a multi-disciplinary team. Great communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
