Registered Nurse Team Leader Nurse Maude location Canterbury.
About the position in this role you will be working with a team of Registered Team of RN Coordinators to ensure quality nursing care is delivered to the people of Canterbury. To do this you will be able to work alongside and manage teams of nurses to ensure they are supported to deliver excellent nursing care in the community
About you, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong communication skills. The ability to provide mentorship, leadership, support, and education to a team of RN's, EN's and HCA's. A strong interest and experience in community nursing. Demonstrated nursing leadership in the pursuit of nursing excellence.
Excellent nursing knowledge. Advanced nursing assessment skills. Strong computer literacy. A valid work visa, current practicing certificate and full driving license. Experience in the following fields of nursing would be very beneficial.
Palliative care. Complex and non-complex wound care. V.A.B and CVAD management. Medication management and continence. Critical thinking approach regarding service delivery and nursing cares initiated. A whole system approach to the delivery of care. Be able to work in and lead a team. Our service operates seven days a week and the availability to work weekends is essential.
