The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced visual merchandiser to join our expanding team. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own region of stores across Perth as well as Regional locations requiring travel and must be flexible to support stores in other regions as required.

The full time role reports directly to the National VM Co-ordinator and is responsible for ensuring all allocated stores implement, maintain and follow our VM Company guidelines including:

Execution of VM plans and merchandise presentation in-store and windows
Ensuring all allocated stores are provided with VM support
Ensuring staff are trained in all aspects of VM by conducting staff training, regular workshops and one on one training
Providing regular contact, feedback and updates to the National VM Manager and National VM Co-ordinator
Working from Support Office supplied VM briefs, create and photograph new and dramatic visual displays points
Managing the implementation of VM components for Catalogue set-up and major events
Assisting with new store opening and / or refurbishments
Analyse and monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify VM opportunities
Propose solutions when challenges arise during times of VM implementation
The Perfect Profile

To be successful in this role, you must have solid and proven Visual Merchandising experience in a retail environment and a genuine interest in homewares.

We are looking for a candidate that is enthusiastic and energetic. Someone who will show initiative and creativity in solving problems and have the capability to build strong working relationships with our store teams and with regional managers.

Our ideal candidate will thrive in an autonomous, independent role, showcasing a creative flair and an eye for detail.

Applicants must have their own vehicle and a current driver's license as you will be travelling to selected stores daily. You must also be available and willing to travel interstate occasionally if required.
