Reporting to the Senior SHEQ Advisor – Northern, this role supports the SHEQ program across a broad network of branches throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of Onsite’s SHEQ agenda and Strategic Plan.
Identify opportunities to enhance SHEQ performance and consult with management accordingly.
Ensure processes required for the SHEQ Management System are effectively implemented and maintained.
Monitor and report on SHEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement through in-field audits and related activities.
Oversee contractor compliance across the region, providing guidance and support as needed.
Assist with coaching, training, and risk management initiatives at the branch level.
Travel is a key component of this role, with approximately 40% of time spent on the road.

Relevant certification in WHS or similar
3–5 years SHEQ experience within large, complex organisations (experience in industrial services, transport or construction industries is highly desirable).
ICAM or equivalent incident investigation experience (desirable)
Familiarity with injury management and return-to-work processes is preferable.
Strong ability to engage and influence business leaders to champion safety initiatives and foster a positive safety culture.
Proven capability in executing programs with effective communication and change management strategies.
Analytical skills to identify issues and recommend operational improvements.
Demonstrated success in driving SHEQ performance improvements.
