Regional Operations Manager NSW – ACT Hunter Mollard location Sydney, Parramatta & Western Suburbs. $200,000 package neg. This is an outstanding opportunity for a very senior and experienced transport operations executive to join this high profile Australian transport company who is a market leader in its niche sector. Reporting to the National EGM Operations, you will have full responsibility for the leadership and guidance of all operational aspects of the road transport distribution business, across 8 branches in NSW and ACT.  The key focus will be on leadership of a large workforce of over 900, as the organisation goes through generational change. Ideally, we are seeking prior experience as a senior operations manager in a transport/logistics business, managing multiple branches. Leadership is the key priority, and, in particular, we are seeking a person who can demonstrate a proven capability to lead and drive change through engaging with staff and a hands-on operational approach. You must also have a depth of experience and skills in managing IR/EBA negotiations. Previous experience in managing normal transport challenges such as safety, efficient route planning and utilisation of assets is also important.
