Description the Records and Results Officer will provide expert administrative support across all of the core student administration processes, enabling the campus teams to focus on customer service delivery.. The role supports students studying on campus and online and also provides outstanding levels of service to the broader campus communities, including customer service officers, academic staff and contact centre teams.

Reporting to the Senior Records and Results Coordinator you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students. We are recruiting our new 2 Student Records and Results Officers, based in sydney one is 10 months Fixed term - Full Time for a maternity leave. The second is a Permanent - Full Time.

Main responsibilities work to ensure old records are archived consistently. Student enquiries requiring archive search. Managing antecedent institution and student records enquiries. Ensure the integrity of student academic transcripts, results, parchments, etc. Maintain the integrity of student data as it relates to students' results. Work with campus teams, academic Services and IT to investigate and resolve SIS issuance errors. Undertake regular training with staff across the group regarding results and records issues. Undertake regular process improvement reviews.

Ensure data integrity checking of student data is undertaken on a regular basis to ensure the integrity of student records and the adherence of all staff to the Groups policies, procedures, and relevant legislation such as the Privacy act. Create, update and maintain Records and Results Process Documentation. Maintain and document and track certification doc signatories. Undertake to assist with other student progressions related work as required.

Ensure student results are processed and distributed in accordance with policy and in line with deadlines set by the academic calendar. Certification Issuance. Certification quality assurance. Certification signatures. Ensure correct treatment of any data exceptions impacting accurate student records e.g. student full name, qualification. Ensure graduation documentation is accurate for each student at time of completion/graduation (Higher Education).

In addition comply with safety instructions in the work environment and be familiar with occupational health and safety procedures. Taking reasonable care for your own health and safety as well as that of other people who may be affected by your conduct in the workplace. Seeking guidance about any new or modified work procedures. Ensuring that any hazardous conditions are eliminated or minimised and that near misses and injuries are reported immediately to your supervisor.

Participating in meetings, training and other health and safety activities as required. Co-operating with instructions given by emergency response personnel such as emergency wardens and first aiders. Ensuring proper use of all safety devices and personal protective equipment. Co-operating with activities relating to compliance with occupational health and safety legislation. Maintain 2015 RTO standard and HE Standards Framework. Understand and apply relevant legislation such as the National Code 2007 and ESOS.

To be successful in the Records and Results Officer position you will have relevant diploma, undergraduate degree or equivalent (preferred). Experience in student administration within a higher education college or university (preferred). Outstanding customer service skills, including strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and ability to relate to a diverse range of people. High level teamwork and the ability to work with and/or be a member of multiple teams. Superior verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to communicate clearly. Proficiency in computer and software skills, particularly in word processing, spread sheets and using enterprise-wide records management systems. Attention to detail and the ability to undertake high volumes of administrative processing efficiently and with a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of and use of administrative policies and procedures including records management. Creativity in solving problems and generating innovative solutions. A student-service mentality and respect for balancing both people and commercial needs. Strong personal drive and self-motivation.
