Your Role

We have a great opportunity for a Part Time Receptionist to join our team on a permanent contract for 2.5 days (22hrs a week).

You will serve as the first point of contact for clients and staff, delivering an amazing reception experience while supporting local operations and contributing to national workflows.

Your Duties

Your everyday tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Greet clients, visitors, and staff at reception, ensuring arrivals are communicated as appropriate and ensuring the experience is welcoming.
Participate in a national switchboard roster and provide back-up support as required, contributing to seamless national communication workflows.
Monitor and action the CBR reception inbox and national mailbox, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Follow opening & closing procedures for the reception, and help maintain a tidy, presentable, and attended reception area at all times.
Assist boardroom waiters in providing water, tea & coffee to meeting rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and reset after use.
Manage meeting room bookings, including mediations and events using the Events Management System (EMS), and coordinate catering and logistics with users.
Assist with AV setup and provide basic support when required, including troubleshooting and escalation when needed.
Help to maintain staff kitchen & library area, including light cleaning, restocking supplies, and operating dishwashers.
Help ensure accurate cost capture through EMS and processing of invoices through our central billing platform Elite.
Identify and escalate opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with team members, partners, and stakeholders across the firm.
Assist with key projects and initiatives as required.
Follow work health and safety procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

We welcome candidates who have

Experience in a business reception role is highly preferable
Experience working in a professional services environment is preferrable
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment delivering amazing customer service is desirable
A passion for customer service and customer service experience
Excellent time management and organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong prioritisation skills, ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Ability to adapt and be flexible to meet changing requirements and needs
Strong proactive focus on the client and service excellence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite is essential
The ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
First Aid Certificate is desirable
