Receptionist or Administrator Mercy Parklands Hospital location Auckland.

At Mercy Parklands we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to our 96 residents; care that is underpinned by our Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Care approach. We are seeking to recruit a part time experienced, mature, highly organised and bubbly person to be part of our reception/admin team. This is a busy, diverse and demanding role but is at the same time - rewarding.

You will be professional, have a strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and a flexible “can do” attitude. You will have excellent computer skills at a high level in MS word, excel and publisher.  An affinity to IT would be an added bonus as we are introducing a new computer system in June 2020. Reception hours and days are flexible within week days 8am to 4:30pm, however the ideal candidate must be able to work during school holidays and a minimum 7 hour day.

Daily tasks vary but include maintaining an immaculate Reception area. Meet and greet all visitors, residents and staff on the phone and in person - therefore outstanding communication skills are a must.  The processing of admission documents and resident records. Managing incoming and outgoing mail including parcels. All employees must be willing undergo a Police Check as part of the employment process.
