Receptionist or Administration Officer Star Training Academy location Sydney.
We are looking for people who are keen and personable, with a dedicated work ethic and exceptional communication and people skills, to join our team as a Receptionist⁄Administration Officer. For the right people, we are offering an immediate start.
We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91349) providing a broad range of Vocational Education and Training programs throughout Sydney. The people we are looking for have to be comfortable and enthusiastic working with a broad cross section of the community, from diverse backgrounds. The people must be suited to working as part of a small team, with the ability to take direction if required. The positions will be located at our Granville and Liverpool training sites, close to amenities and public transport.
Ideally applicants will have/be exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literate with the ability to use MS Office tools, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. The ability to work in a busy environment and multi task. Basic business or administration qualifications. The ability to work with limited supervision.
A self-starter, always looking for ways to improve and for tasks to be done. Must be available full time Mon-Fri between 0830 to 1630. Flexibility is also required as there may be the requirement to commence earlier occasionally or perform duties on some Saturdays, for half a day.
Duties include answering telephone enquiries. Dealing with prospective students face to face. Taking course bookings and course payments. Booking students into courses using an online Student Management System. Scheduling courses online. Liaising and booking courses with government departments.
