Groundwork Psychology delivers affordable psychological therapy and assessments services to clients under Private Practice, Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, EAP, Victims of Crime and NDIS service delivery models. We are seeking a friendly and energetic Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our Hawthorn Clinic. The Receptionist/Administration Officer will assist in the day-to-day functioning of the clinic and provide support to our team of Psychologists.

Tasks will include engaging with clients to complete intake, book appointments and process payments for services (face to face, via email and on phone) using client management software (Halaxy). Supporting Practitioners with diary management. Supporting the communications between Groundwork Psychology staff and external providers (GP’s and other external referrers).

Posting on Social Media, under the direction of the Principal Psychologist. Including, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Completing general reception and administration duties. The position is part time, EFT 0.6. Days of work can be negotiated. There will be an opportunity to increase hours later in the new year.

Developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with clients, health practitioners and external stakeholders.

Ability to learn Medicare and health insurance systems and client management systems (For example, Halaxy). Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures whilst managing multiple tasks. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic recording systems and data management tools, along with a capacity to learn new clinical software packages.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member. Groundwork operates under JobCo., a registered provider of NDIS services. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance prior to employment. They will also need to provide their Working with Children's Check and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
