Receptionist or Administration Podiatry Professionals location Canberra.  $55,000 – $75,000 per year.

About the business and the role Full Time - 4 days per week (32-38 Hours). Based in Braddon – buzzing and in the heart of cafes. Predominantly Sports based Podiatry. We are seeking a receptionist/administrative assistant to be a key part of our practice, Podiatry Professionals. You will be working with our experienced and supportive administration team to ensure a smooth-running practice. Personality is key.

Our patients are our number one priority (this cannot be overstated)! Our practice provides a warm and empathetic environment and has a strong focus on patient care so confidence, compassion and support is desired. Our ideal candidate would also be someone who is a fast learner and excels in phone manner, multi-tasking, typing, attention to detail and problem-solving. As well as delivering excellent customer care, productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include be a team player and resonate with our culture and values. Meet and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner to assist our patients in their patient journey. Attend and screen all incoming telephone calls.

Schedule patient consultations, respond to patient enquiries, appointment confirmations and cancellations. Experience and understanding of medical software are preferrable. Manage correspondence including emailing of reports to referring Specialists, Doctors, Physiotherapist and other allied health practitioners. Processing payments.

Maintain patient records on our practice management software Cliniko and ensure that the patient information is current. Provide support with general office maintenance and administrative tasks, ensuring office machines, practice rooms and reception are maintained to a satisfactory standard including cleaning, safety, and security. Consistently be aware of OHS requirements and comply with them.

Skills and experience previous experience working as a receptionist in the Allied Healthcare or professional services environment is highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the Podiatrists, patients and our team.

Excellent time management and organisation skills with high attention to detail. Positive and can-do attitude, absolute confidentiality, genuine empathy and interest in their needs. Represent the practice in a confident and positive manner at all times. Love to have fun.
