Receptionist or Admin Assistant Ninth Floor Selborne Chambers location Sydney. $60,000 - $79,999.

Ninth Floor Selborne Chambers is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and attentive Receptionist to join team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a reception or customer service role and will be capable and comfortable working both autonomously and in a team environment.

About the role you will be the face of Chambers, greeting clients, solicitors and counsel both on the telephone and in person. Answering and allocating calls on a VOIP based telephone system or ensuring messages are conveyed to the appropriate person.

Assisting with food and beverage preparation as necessary. Maintaining the professional presentation of the reception area, kitchen and conference rooms, including the set of of electronic meetings. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining stationary and other supplies.

Printing, scanning and collating briefs, including electronic briefs and any other administrative or personal tasks requested by the barristers or the Clerk. About you seeking long-term employment. 2+ years reception and client service experience in a corporate environment. Previous experience in Chambers is recommended, but not essential.

A confident, positive and can-do attitude. Professional phone manner and presentation with strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in a refined and pleasant manner.

Capable of remaining calm and poised under pressure with the ability to take direction and action requests in a timely fashion, and prioritise tasks and competing demands without fuss. Good communication, listening, memory skills and problem solving skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
