Receptionist or Admin Assistant Ministry of Justice location Auckland.

About the role we are looking for a full-time Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our team in our Waitakere Office. We are a collegial and professional office of legal and support staff. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team who have a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and supporting one another in an enjoyable, busy and sometimes challenging environment. Your duties will include setting up reception duties, answering phone calls from key internal and external stakeholders and clients, dealing with a busy inbox, opening hard copy client files, photocopying and data entry.

Skills and experience to be successful in this role you will need strong communication skills, both verbal and written. To be a self-starter with proven initiative. To be a team player. To be experienced and efficient in a range of administration functions including typing and data entry. To be keen to learn about the world of criminal defence law.

Whilst you may have already gained some experience in a professional environment that is customer driven, and been involved in general office administration tasks, this is a chance for you to get in at the 'ground floor' and establish a great career path for yourself.

Salary range the remuneration band for this role is $48,184 to $56,136 - while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
