Receptionist and Customer Service Superstar Sydney Pet Resort location Vineyard.
Sydney Pet Resort are looking for an experienced, confident customer service superstar to join our reception & reservations team at our thriving, award winning pet resort in Vineyard in Sydney’s North West.
Skills required you must love animals and be exceptional with people. Stay calm, friendly and smiling in a fast paced environment. Be meticulously organised and methodical. Have the ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service. Be self-motivated & reliable with a can-do attitude.
Be passionate & knowledgeable in the animal industry. Have excellent computer skills & be able to multi-task seamlessly. A neat freak and admin super hero is what we need. Not be scared to pick up some doggy poop or crawl on your knees at times.
Fit and healthy enough to bend, flex, run after animals and carry some bags of dog food. Prior reception experience in the pet industry is essential. We need personality. We have a vibrant team and we need someone who will fit right in so expect us to be very picky when selecting the right person for the job.
Duties & responsibilities running the front of house show at reception. Welcoming clients and their pets and taking care of their needs. Providing updates to owners. Taking photos of pets. Keeping reception looking clean & fabulous. Taking care of staff and customers. Ordering supplies for the facility. General office tasks.
Taking inbound sales enquiries and calls. Managing & coordinating bookings through our online booking system. Replying to emails efficiently & courteously. Planning and coordinating daily schedules. Organising fun workplace events for staff.
Provide administration support to the Managers & team as required. All training will be provided. Pet industry experience is essential. You'll need to be available to work weekends (specifically Sundays), public holidays and during NSW school holiday periods (our busiest times).
