Receptionist Arohanui Hospice Service Trust location Manawatu.

Arohanui Hospice provides specialist palliative care for patients living with life limiting illnesses, and support for their families/whanau within the Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Rangitikei/Taihape regions. We seek an experienced and enthusiastic frontline administrator. The positions available are one permanent part time receptionist who will work Saturdays and Sundays and one casual receptionist who is available from Monday to Sunday to cover any planned and unplanned absences. To succeed in this role you will be an experienced relationship manager with a dash of personality and an ability to maintain your composure in pressure situations.

We are looking for administrators who have reception and telephony experience to work in our busy reception area as part of a small team of receptionists. If you love working with and for people and enjoy being the “go to” person for our small service, this may be the role for you.

The successful applicant will be an impressionable front line staff member responsible for managing the telephones, processing incoming and outgoing mail, assisting with Accounts Receivable / Payable and organization of day to day building and equipment maintenance, some clinical support and of course some general administration duties.  This role is vital to our service delivery and the standard we strive toward.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes frontline reception/administration experience friendly outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated relationship development and management skills and experience. Proven ability to developing and establishing workable systems and processes. Experience working with and administering large databases. Ability to produce and present audience-appropriate information. High degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Experience working with a Volunteer Workforce is desirable.
