About us Oncology Recovery Services Inc. is a multidisciplinary centre that specialises in cancer care, lymphoedema management, and jaw disorders. We're a fun, friendly team who enjoy what we do. We have been supporting cancer patients for many years & during this time, we’ve observed and actively participated in making progress in the field.

Due to the ever-increasing awareness, research and evidence, the disciplines of Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, and Exercise Therapy have become more integrated into cancer care. We believe in applying all three of these therapies to your care to best reduce or eliminate cancer treatment symptoms and side effects.

Our goal is to eliminate or reduce your physical limitations and assist you to overcome any hurdles you may be experiencing as a result of your cancer treatment.

The position as our receptionist, you are the first point of contact for patients, referring healthcare providers, insurers, and others who deal with the practice. We have one other fabulous receptionist who supports this role too.

Very good personal presentation, face-to-face communication, telephone communication, and the ability to calmly deal with several matters at once, are essential for this role.

The permanent part time position is 8:30 - 5pm Tuesday & Wednesday & 8:30 - 2:30pm Saturday (we can be flexible around this). You will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, the general public, physicians and staff.

Tasks and responsibilities front reception duties, answering phone, processing payments, HICAPS and bookings. Diary management. Stocktake & stock ordering. Scanning and handling patient documents in a confidential manner.

Meet and greet patients and building good rapport with a happy disposition. General tidying and cleaning of clinic space & equipment. Social media posts. Other office duties as requested by the Team.

About you you are an organised person who loves to keep busy & shows initiative. You are a people person, with a happy, warm, caring nature. You are a good multi-tasker, able to prioritise competing tasks and complete the jobs at hand.

You are a good problem solver and can think on your feet. You are willing to take responsibility of the role, implementing and maintaining good systems and process. You have a good sense of humour & like being part of a team.
