Receptionist Tusk Group location Melbourne.

Our client is looking for a ‘front of house’ administrator/receptionist to work closely with the Practice Manager and the clinic team to ensure the practice delivers professional, compassionate and friendly services to patients, referrers and other visitors.

Our client will provide a workplace where you can learn, grow and, most importantly, enjoy your critical role in the practice. Duties will include working alongside the Practice Manager and small team of Administrators, Cardiac Technologists and Doctors.

Welcoming patients and visitors to the clinic, answering the telephone as well as assisting those interested in knowing more about the clinic and the services on offer. Processing billing and payments. Liaising with Medicare, hospitals, insurance companies and private health funds. Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation. Management of customer files and accounts.

Key accountabilities include providing excellent customer service, communication and patient care. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, doctors and managers. Compassion and strict confidentiality.

Key selection criteria previous medical receptionist experience is considered highly desirable. Specialist practice experience preferred. Familiarity with patient booking software (Medical Director/Blue Chip would be ideal).

This is a full time role Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-4pm and Thursday and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. Our client is offering an attractive salary package and the opportunity to work with a supportive and professional organisation offering workplace flexibility.
