An experienced medical receptionist is required for Doonside Medical Centre and Claremont Meadows Medical Centre. Doonside Medical Centre is located in Doonside, 38 km West of Sydney and Claremont Meadows Medical Centre is located in Claremont Meadows Shopping Centre.

Skills and experience required minimum 3-5 years general practice experience. Medical software experience (Best Practice or MD and Pracsoft). Resume demonstrating stable work history including general practice experience. Excellent written and verbal skills.

Contribute to team requirements including active participation in practice meetings. Must be able to multi-skill. Knowledge of RACGP accreditation standards (or willing to learn). Must hold updated CPR certification.

Ability to comfort patients and anticipate their anxieties or questions. Must be friendly and want to work in a team environment. Proactive and “can-do” attitude. Experience in recalls, reminders and both walk-in and appointments bookings. Managing doctors, specialists and allied health appointment books and foreseeing problems.
