Receptionist The Jobseeker Agency location Sydney. $35 per hour.

We are recruiting for a Receptionist for a not for profit organisation based in the Mascot area. My client is looking for someone to start ASAP with the role going for up to 3 months, with the possibility of going permanent. The role would be a Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm type position.

Details of the position full time, normal office hours.Work as a locum or temp with a pay rate of $35 per hour plus super initially. There is the chance the role will transition to a permanent position. Office located in Mascot, close to public transport. Work for an excellent not for profit organisation. Training and support provided.

Duties include office access and parking requests using Folio and Outlook. Updating daily attendance spreadsheet through Excel.Daily office operations – start up and close down, intercom, courier deliveries, visitors, phone calls, mail, swipe card and equipment borrowing log.Provide word-processing support, data entry and maintain databases, contact lists and manage conference room bookings.

Receive and direct telephone enquiries/messages, visitors and internal customers to the appropriate person. Process mail and photocopied items as directed by the manager. Arrange/coordinate servicing of office/mobile equipment and fleet items according to warranty and maintenance requirements. Manage telephone switchboard and screen/answer/redirect incoming calls at multiple sites as scheduled. Meet and greet visitors, issue passes, parking allocations and inform them of safety rules and direct them to appropriate staff member.

Requirements we are looking for someone with previous administrative / receptionist experience.The right attitude – someone who is trainable and coachable, pro-active and someone who brings energy to the role.
