Receptionist Private Advertiser location Brisbane.
Due to the expansion of the practice, we are in need of an additional Team Member. The following role is on offer, with a generous salary package for the right candidate. We are looking to onboard a Medical Receptionist to our Specialist Practice (Surgical) team. We are a well organised team with long term employees in a busy practice, so only those with a desire to work in fast paced environments need apply.
Administrative experience essential. Medical practice training will be provided to fulfill the following roles general administrative duties. Reception - answering and completing telephone calls, emails and faxes. Booking patient appointments and responding to patient enquiries. Billing consultations and taking payment with a variety of methods. Filing, photocopying, scanning and mailing documents. Assisting the Practice Manager in day to day operations. Preparation and running clinic / reception duties
Essential characteristics for the role exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task. Willingness to learn and take direction. Readiness to travel up to 4 times per year (2 – 3 days each trip) interstate for a Remote Clinic (all travel expenses paid for). Confidence with technology and able to navigate and learn different software applications, including competence using M365.
To be considered for the role ideally 3 – 5 years administrative experience in a high pressured environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team. Excellent data entry skills with accuracy and efficiency. Typing speed 60wpm (minimum), however it would be advantageous to have a typing speed of 75wpm plus.
