Receptionist Hillcrest High School location Waikato. $26.45 – $28.89 per hour.

We are seeking a receptionist for our busy front office. Hours are 8am to 4pm, term time only (40 weeks per year).

About the role you will be our first point of contact for parents, visitors and students. Answering the phone and emails and visitor queries in a timely manner.  Provide general information and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member. Processing parent payments. Maintaining our electronic notice board.

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area. Assist with the creation of promotional materials via CANVA. Be in charge of our blazer stock, including distributing and collecting back. Being part of the administration team and supporting the school with various office duties as required.

Skills and experience excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people of all ages. Confident dealing with a varied day, without becoming flustered. Previous experience with KAMAR, Google docs is preferred, but training will be provided.

Previous experience in a similar role in a school or as a receptionist in a busy organization. The ability to work independently as needed but remain part of the team. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm term time only.
