Description

Receptionist Turramurra Vet Hospital location Sydney.

This is a part-time reception position like no other, working front-of-house at a busy veterinary hospital, where no two days are the same. This position will suit an exceptional receptionist who has the ability to juggle multiple tasks with absolute ease with high attention to detail.

Turramurra Veterinary Hospital strives to provide a superior standard of customer service who go above and beyond for the clients and the pets that present to our practice.  Turramurra Veterinary Hospital is the North Shore’s only ASAV-accredited Hospital of Excellence and in 2021 we were awarded first place in the North Shore Business Awards for Outstanding Pet Care.

You will be joining a team who love their work in the veterinary profession and enjoy coming to work. We consider our patients as an extension of our own family. We are a Lincoln Institute Accredited Employer of Choice.

About us we are a 7-vet (full-time equivalent) small animal independent and family-owned practice who love what we do. We have a purpose-built recently renovated modern and well-equipped building with two sterile surgical theatres.

Our Customer Care Team consists of a group of exceptional receptionists who love animals and strive to provide a positive customer experience in all their client interactions. We are located in a pleasant leafy area in Sydney's Upper North Shore, close to National Parks and around 40 minutes from the city and close to the Northern Beaches.

About the role we are looking to expand our Customer Care Team in August 2023 with someone who is well-spoken, with professional communication skills and dedicated to providing a high standard of customer service. This is a position that will be challenging and is not for the fainthearted. We are looking for someone who can bring a positive, engaging and helpful attitude to the role and the extended clinical team.

We believe work should be enjoyed, not endured. We are proud to have maintained a pleasant workplace environment that focuses on staff well-being and personal development.

Note we are keen to employ a new Customer Care Team member who is dedicated to a front-of-house role, rather than someone who is looking to pursuing Veterinary Nursing or Animal Attendant Care in the near future.

Passionate about animals and providing excellent customer service. Empathic and resilient. Ability to multi-task. Professional communication skills. Reliable and committed work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a happy and calm demeanour amongst our clients and colleagues.
