Reception or Office Extraordinaire Migraine Specialist location Brisbane.

We have just added an admin guru to our team and now looking to expand our front of house team and hire another! We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer service orientated team member to work with a great small close knit admin team, nurses and Neurologists. We are looking for a full time medical receptionist to work 5 days per week, from 8:30am to 5pm.

Our practice is focused on delivering high quality care for patients who suffer from headaches and Migraine. We are very technology savvy, so extensive computer skills are a must. Your role would be to assist in creating a warm and welcoming practice and be one of the smiling faces on reception as well be part of a team that thrive on fun and hard work.

We are located just outside of Brisbane City at Spring Hill with a close-knit team of Doctors, nurses and admin managers. Experience within a medical/healthcare setting would be desirable, as would experience with Genie or Best Practice software. However, our number one goal is finding someone who fits in with the culture in our Practice.

Essential requirements minimum 1-2 years in medical administrator role. Strong communication skills and a professional and caring disposition. Passion for delivering a high standard of patient care. Strong organisational skills and time management.

Computer savvy and ability to think outside the box. Ability to grasp and learn new skills. Professional presentation. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and adapt to change. Able to work independently as well as a part of the practice team. Mature attitude and strong work ethic.

Duties medical reception duties. Greeting patients. Scheduling appointments and procedures. Register patients according to established protocols. Issuing accounts and collecting payment. Manage and maintain patient records.

Ensuring the clinic is adequately stocked in terms of office and clinical supplies. General office cleaning. Importing and exporting medical documents/reports. Ability to manage incoming and outgoing correspondence in a timely manner.
