Gordon Brothers Industries is the largest Industrial Refrigeration Company in Australia. We have offices in each mainland state and provide complete industrial refrigeration solutions including design, construction and comprehensive servicing for a wide range of sectors including mining, chemical, food and beverage.

A great opportunity is available for a proactive Receptionist and Administration Officer to join the team.  You will provide reception and administrative support to all parts of the business. You will need to have excellent phone skills with the ability to liaise with Clients and Technicians.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to reception, telephone and general typing. General office duties – photocopying, printing, scanning, filing & typing. Book Travel – Airline and Accommodation Reservations. Distribute and post internal and external mail. Receipting supplier invoices and matching to delivery dockets and job sheets.

Assist with the preparation of quote estimates and correspondence for clients. Raising job numbers and purchase orders for Technicians in Pronto. Provide administrative support for Directors, Managers and Engineers. Co-ordinate Managers expense claims and visa cards. Set up and file correspondence for Contracts and Quotes. On the job training to ensure all administration tasks are covered in the event of absence of other admin staff. Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Work experience 2 years office and administrator or similar experience. Advanced Microsoft Word. Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Pronto an advantage but not essential.

Physical requirements read and write English. Sit for extended periods of time. This is a Fulltime 18-month Maternity Leave Contract with an immediate start. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. Must have own vehicle to travel to work.
