Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are seeking a mature, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to undertake a Reception and Administration Support Traineeship with one of our well-established and reputable host employers in the health industry. Previous experience is not essential as we are seeking applicants that have the right attitude, are dependable, reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

About you must be customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Have excellent time management skills, can work under pressure and possess the ability to multi-task. Have a professional attitude and shows initiative. Capacity to work collaboratively and operate as an effective member of a team. A commitment to learning and development. Willingness to work under Work Health and Safety guidelines.

Role description the successful candidate will be employed by ACA and will undertake a 12-month full-time traineeship, working on-site with our host employer; and will complete a Certificate III, or IV in Business.

Duties include provide friendly customer service and greet all visitors at reception. Ensure that reception and entrance areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times. Answering incoming telephone calls, making appointments and responding to email enquiries. General administrative duties including emailing, faxing and scanning documents, mail, updating computer records and data entry. Facilitate the ordering of office stationery and ensure stationery room is kept in an orderly manner. Facilitate the ordering of catering for key events and assistance with event set up. Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working space. Attend internal meetings, workshops and RTO training as required. Other duties as directed.

Candidate requirements australian citizen or permanent resident. Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III, or IV in Business. Demonstrate cooperation, respect, consideration, and tact in dealing with others. Aptitude for working and communicating effectively with visitors and staff in an office environment. Ability to prioritise requirements. Candidates must have, or be willing to obtain current Police Check. Flu and COVID-19 vaccination.
