Lotus People are delighted to be partnering with one of Australia's leading Healthcare brands to find an experienced Day Surgery Receptionist to join their largest practice in Chatswood. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected brand that puts quality patient care first.

The company you will be working alongside world-renowned, industry-leading doctors. This facility was the first in Australia to perform these procedures and is still highly recognized as the market leader for being the best in their field. They have 5 practices within NSW, Chatswood being the biggest and busiest across 2 floors.

The role this role will see you working in a team of 3 Day Surgery Receptionists, supporting up to 5 doctors. You will report into a fantastic practice manager who is warm, supportive and intelligent. You will join a collaborative team who work together to make sure that patients receive excellent customer service and doctors receive the administrative support they need. Days start at between 6.30am -and 9am, finish time between 5.30pm - 6pm rotating staggering shifts, totaling 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The duties booking patient appointments and processing private, Medicare and Health fund billings using Bluechip. Reception duties, greeting and billing patients. General administration support as required, both digital and paper-based. Handling patient enquiries and liaising with health professionals such as GPs and hospital staff as required.

The Ideal candidate this role will suit a genuine team player with customer service skills and experience working within the medical space. You will treat patients with empathy and will strive to support doctors to deliver timely care. No job will be too big or too small to ensure the smooth running of this very busy practice.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate experience working within a similar role, within a day surgery environment. Well organised with exceptional attention to detail. Strong typing skills and strong computer skills. Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated customer service experience.
