Ramp Agent - Night Shift, Full Time - 40 hours per week, 4 days on & 4 days off (12 hour shifts),

Overview provide baggage and cargo loading and unloading services and other general duties to assist the airside operational team in meeting operational safety and performance targets, in accordance with relevant business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements.

To ensure operational duties are performed in a safe and timely manner and meet airline and company standards, while maintaining policies, standards and safety requirements of the airline and company. Our Ground Handling division are currently seeking hard working and reliable Baggage Handlers to load and unload baggage and cargo at our Auckland International Airport. Main duties load and unload baggage and/or cargo into and out of bulk holds in a safe, timely and efficient manner to assist the team in meeting operational safety and performance targets. Load and unloading baggage into and out of unit load devices in a safe, timely and efficient manner to assist the team in meeting operational safety and performance targets.

Perform other general duties to assist the team in meeting operational safety and performance targets. Actively ensure the safety and security of all people, assets, systems and procedures engaged in or associated with own area of responsibility or otherwise under own control or influence

We are on the search for a range of people, from a range of backgrounds, particularly people with experience in operating vehicles and that you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold at least a work visa / permit.

You must be reliable, honest and outstanding timekeeping skills a clear Police record to obtain your Airport Access Card. Pass a medical assessment. You most hold a full NZ car driver’s license. Enjoy being and working as part of a team. No previous exp required but must be flexible and reliable. Ability to lift 25kgs + continuously. And most important, can-do attitude.

Working in an Airside role, you will follow aviation security requirements, you will be required to hold a full Airside Security Pass, which means a criminal history check will be required along with a valid full New Zealand driving license. You will be expected to have a great situation awareness and a strong safety focus as you will be dealing with aircraft, equipment and machinery.
