Radiology Receptionist Bairnsdale Ultrasound and X-ray location location Bairnsdale and Gippsland.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Medical (Radiology) Receptionist who enjoys working in a busy environment and is passionate about providing excellent patient care. Previous reception work in Radiology or General Practice would be advantageous. In this newly created role you will be the front-line of our professional private medical imaging practice and will be responsible for the smooth running of this practice and ensuring that all patients are provided the highest level of customer service and comfort. You will be the first point of contact for all patients coming into the centre and will need to be highly organized and cool under pressure in order to cope with the volume of work involved.

You will also be responsible for all billing and Medicare receipting and it is essential that you have high attention to detail due to the nature of the information you are dealing with. This position will predominantly be based at the Lakes Entrance clinic but you may on occasion be required to work at the Bairnsdale Clinic, and as such you will be required to hold a drivers licence and have your own vehicle.  The hours of work will be 8.30am - 3.00pm.

The successful candidate will have well-polished, excellent customer service skills. Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and professional and polite telephone manner. Strong team player but also able to work independently. Well presented, Strong attention to detail, Previous experience with Medicare, Workcover accounts advantageous, Ability to multi task, Proactive attitude, The ability to work within a small cohesive team environment, Drivers licence and own vehicle, To observe and uphold all of the company's privacy policies and procedures as implemented or varied from time to time.

Understanding that information in relation to the business, patients and operations of the company are confidential. Familiar with MS Office and general computer skills. Radiology Information Systems experience advantageous. Medical typing advantageous. All other reception and administrative duties as required and directed by the Practice Directors.

Key responsibilities dealing with telephone enquiries and bookings. Meet & greet patients. Provide a high level of patient care and confidentiality. Schedule patient appointments. Manage patient invoicing and receipting. Generating and preparing patient files. Answering and transferring all phone calls. Typing radiology documents & reports (50wpm min). Ability to cope and work in a busy environment. Salary to match the successful applicant's experience. Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Must hold a current Australian drivers license and have your own vehicle.
