The company Horokiwi Quarries is a privately owned company which operates a large hard rock quarry in Wellington.

The postion we require an experienced A grade quarry manager to provide leadership, manage the staff and the production of the operation on a daily basis. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to operate machinery as required, work with the company engineers to plan the required maintainace to keep this operation working at all times.

you will report to the company manager, work with him on the future development of the quarry and assist him with production schedules to ensure targets are met and the quarry is working as efficiently as it possibly can.

The candidate previous experience as a Quarry Manager in a hard rock quarry is preferred. Have a complete understanding of quarrying and knowledge of legislative requirements. Be safety focused and lead by example. Horokiwi Quarries is committed to a drug free workplace.
