Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil-Electrical Engineering, Business, Law, Contract Management, or a related field (Master's degree or legal background is a plus).
Experience in contract management or a related role within the construction or energy sector.
Comprehensive understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CCM) is advantageous.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including legal counsel, sales, procurement, and business units to develop contract terms and conditions.
Negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with organisational interests and risk tolerance.
Draft contracts, amendments, and other legal documents.
Review incoming contracts to identify potential risks and issues.
Conduct contract analysis to assess compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
Evaluate contract performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
Oversee the contract execution process, ensuring all parties sign and execute agreements.
Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations.
Identify and assess contractual risks, developing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage disputes and claims arising from contracts.
Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve legal issues related to contracts.
Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with procurement to optimise supplier contracts.
Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for management.
Maintain accurate and organised contract records and documentation.
