The Quality Assurance Supervisor supports the QA Manager in leading and implementing quality assurance programs and ensuring compliance with food safety, animal welfare, and regulatory standards.

This is a day shift role based at our Ingleburn Further Processing site. It’s a hands-on position working in a fast-paced environment where you will spend a large part of your time on the factory floor, along with the need to complete office-based clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities:

Assist the QA Manager in leading the site’s Product Pride Program.
Review and file all production and quality-related paperwork daily
Maintain critical QA documentation including:
Foreign Matter Register (Internal & Supplier)
Bucket Walk Register
HACCP and CCP Logs
Packaging Traceability and Ingredient Logs
Hand Swab Register
Conduct weekly GMP walks across Raw, High-Risk, and External areas
Collate and review quality testing results and oversee corrective actions. Manage verification schedules in line with HACCP and QMR
Investigate and respond to customer complaints and product non-conformances
Coach and train Quality and Processing employees on animal welfare, food safety, and quality compliance per Ingham’s procedures
Assist in the planning and execution of new product and process trials
Adhere to workplace safety rules; identify and escalate hazards and risks
Collaborate with Operations to maintain compliance and support improvement programs
Support internal and external audit programs, including preparation and corrective action follow-ups
Identify, escalate, and verify issues relating to animal welfare, food safety, and quality compliance
Apply working knowledge of BRC and CFSMR audit protocols
Key requirements:

Proven experience in a food manufacturing quality role
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
Knowledge of BRC and CFSMR audit processes
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and quality teams
Strong organisational and documentation skills
